Detox Day Two

Lah. Kok tiba2 udah hari kedua? Iya, kemaren sibuk eike. Jadi baru sempet nulis sekarang.

Okay, what is it with this detox? Dari dulu sebenernya pengen, berawal dari Mbak Sherina yang berkicau di twitternya regarding detox dia yg gagal thanks to sushi (apa shabu2 ya, lupita gue). Muleilah dirikyu mencari2 apaan sih detox2.. Trus, ternyata di banyak sumber (yg mana gue nyarinya random, jadi gak inget dapet inpoh dari mana aja, so hampura yah gak disebutin disini) yg bilang kalo detox buah itu emang baik untuk dilakukan.

Setelah mengumpulkan niat yg cukup besar buat ngelakuinnya (sambil mikir, gosh, am gonna literally miss nasi, gorengan, dan teman2nya), dimuleilah detox buah per kemaren. Bangun pagi makan pisang sama tomat potong plus gula. Di kantor ngemil2 buah apel (ih, indah banget ya cemilannya). Trus siangnya makan karedok, sorenya ngemil apel lagi plus yogurt. Pulang2 makan gado2 tapi cuma toge sama seladanya aja. Trus kenyang. Hebat si gado2 euy. Nah, tapi si adik gendut malemnya ngancem mo abisin rumput laut crispy malem itu juga, akirnya gue nyerah ikutan makan juga. Hahahhaa..

Review detox day 1: Bisa dibaca yah. Namanya juga detox buah. Kuduna pan yg dimakan buah doang siiih. Dan tanpa gula2an. Sayur sebenernya nggak apa2, tapi gak pake bumbu2 apapun, jadi kaya makan lalapan gitu harusnya. Yogurt? Pas gue makan tu yogurt, agak menyesal juga sih, emangnya ini diet na? dudul. Yang terakir, si rumput laut crispy. Ah sudahlah gausah dikomentarin. Tapi yah, sayah kan masi newbie yah, gapapa kali hari pertama segitu progressnya, lumayan kan.. kan.. kan.. (IYA! :D )

Detox Day Two:

Considered more successful than yesterday. Diawali dengan segelas air hangat. Trus makan sepotong apel dan semangkok tomat (masih pake gula, dikiiiiit kok). Tiap jam ngunyah apel, had papayas for lunch, lanjut lagi makan apel. Dan minum lebih banyak lagi. Dinnernya papaya lagi. (Lama2 eneg bok) ;D

Doakan yah semoga sayah berhasil melewati rintangan ini. Masih ada satu hari niiiih. Padahal udah gatel pengen jajan. Dan semoga hari ini maupun besok gak ada yg nawarin bakso haratisan kaya kemaren. Eymen!!

Bao Dim-Sum

Attracted by their mini-looking-good Ba Pao and craved for dim-sum, I came unintentionally to this place with my sister. I love its interior design, as you can see above, that's only a small part of it which I like. The place isn't big, it's quite small, but doesn't lessen my interest to it.

For dim-sum lovers, this place is a must try. My sister said, you've got to try Baso Sotong Roti, that's a recommended one (she said, cos I've never tasted it, I'm more like the old-fashioned, I love Hakau, Hakau, and Hakau). About the price, I'm not saying the food is cheap, but I think it's affordable and really is worth every penny you spent.

Here are the super cute, mini Ba Pao, yellow ones are Pasir Mas, consists of milk and cheese.

It tastes yummy sweet. The greeny striped one is Pandan taste.

Chicken-mushroom, Pasir Mas (again?!), Nutty Chocolate. I loooovveee 'em all.

They got 17 kinds of Ba Pao, but my fav is definitely the yellow one, Pasir Mas :)

Chinese Chicken Porridge. Enough to kill my yearn for Chinese porridge.

HAKAU!!! My fav of all dim-sum! And I've to tell you, I can compare this to the one at Duck King. Lovely!!

This is what I really really, I mean, REALLY love about this place. Yup, it's the spicy sauce.

*Can you see the bottle was almost empty, that was my sister and I to blame* ;D

Haven't got a chance to taste their main courses. Definitely gonna try it next time..

Cervical Cancer, Be Aware Girls.

According to this site, pengertian dari kanker serviks adalah sebagai berikut:

Cervical cancer is a disease that affects the cervix of the female reproductive system. The cervix is the lower end of the uterus, and leads the uterus to the vagina.

Kesimpulan singkat yang saya baca, kanker serviks itu adalah kanker leher rahim. Tentunya kanker ini hanya menyerang wanita yah. Based on the fact I read here, di Indonesia sendiri, sedikitnya 40 orang wanita didiagnosis kanker serviks setiap harinya, dan yang meninggal karena kanker tersebut sedikitnya 20 orang, SETIAP HARINYA.

Now, that's freaking me out. Apalagi iklan-iklan layanan masyarakat makin sering ditayangin di tv, yg menekankan bahwa setidaknya 7 dari 10 wanita di Indonesia terkena kanker serviks.

Apa sih penyebabnya? Dan siapa aja yang berisiko terkena kanker ini?

Setiap wanita, di usia produktif, berisiko terkena kanker ini. Penyebab utamanya adalah virus yang disebut Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Faktor yang kedua yaitu menurunnya sistem kekebalan tubuh. Faktor-faktor lain yang meningkatkan risiko terkena kanker serviks, antara lain:

1. Giving birth to many children (I guess now we've to put away "banyak anak banyak rejeki")

2. Berganti-ganti pasangan seksual

3. Having first sexual intercourse at a young age

4. SMOKING CIGARETTES

One told me, bahayanya kanker ini, di stadium awal, seringkali tidak terlihat gejalanya. Karena kekebalan tubuh seseorang di usia twenty to thirty something umumnya masih sangat baik, penderitanya masih dapat melakukan segala aktivitas dengan normal. Baru seiring bertambahnya umur, yang mana sel kankernya juga semakin berkembang, gejala-gejala semacam ini muncul:

1. Abnormal bleeding. Can be light or heavy one during the month.

2. Timbulnya keputihan yg tidak normal, bercampur dengan darah, dan berbau.

3. Mild or severe pelvic pain

4. Pendarahan yang terjadi di antara periode menstruasi normal and after sexual intercourse.

How to overcome this disease?

Pemeriksaan Pap Smear secara rutin sangat dianjurkan terutama bagi wanita yg sexually active. Dengan regular screening, sel-sel serviks abnormal (lesi pra-kanker), dan juga sel kanker serviks stadium awal dapet terdeteksi dan dapat segera diobati. Karena itu juga, pemeriksaan rutin ini disebutkan menurunkan angka kematian akibat kanker serviks sampai lebih dari 50%.

Preventive action lainnya yaitu dengan vaksinasi. Tujuan dari vaksinasi ini adalah memberikan perlindungan yang cukup terhadap infeksi HPV. Sebaiknya, vaksinasi dilakukan sedini mungkin. Vaksinasi ini dilakukan dengan tiga kali penyuntikan, penyuntikan pertama di bulan 0, kedua di bulan ke-1 atau 2, yang ketiga di bulan ke-6.

Based on teman-teman saya yang sudah melakukan vaksinasi kanker serviks, sebaiknya dilakukan 6-9 bulan sebelum menikah. Karena, jika di tengah-tengah masa vaksinasi itu kita hamil, penyuntikan harus diulang setelah melahirkan dari awal lagi. Misalnya, kita sudah melakukan vaksinasi yang kedua, dua bulan lagi akan melakukan vaksinasi yang ketiga, tapi ternyata hamil. Maka, vaksinasi harus diulang dari tahap yang pertama. Problems come when you know the fact that these vaccines can be said, pretty expensive.

Happy Birthday Lil' Sister

This post is dedicated to my silly, chubby, little sister. She's celebrating her 22nd birthday yesterday. For your information, I didn't get used to give compliments to her. In fact, we grew up mocking each other. I guess that's how we show our love. But, I'll try my best for this chance. :)

Twenty Three Facts Regarding My Sister

1. I always wanted a litter sister. When my mom's carrying her, no one told me it's gonna be a girl, but I had faith, it's a she.

2. Her name is Febriani Permatasari. Called her Ade, Mpeb, Pepew, Anak Gajah, Beruang, Gwendut, Genduto. Naah, we called her, Febi.

3. She's a prematurely born baby. Waktu lahir her face was no bigger than my mom's palm. And she had to be in the incubator for few days.

4. Waktu bayi, suara kucing aja lebih kenceng dari suara tangisnya si adik gendut (yg dulunya imut2). Nyokap aja pernah ga nyadar si adik lagi nangis padahal jaraknya cuma semeter-dua meter.

5. Gue selalu nganggep adek gue yg bulat dan lucuuu itu maenan. Slalu rajin ngisengin si adik, tapi si adik udh bisa ngebales, ujung2nya gue yg nangis. Ada loh fotonya gue lagi nangis buka mulut lebar2, si adik bulat hanya bengong ngeliat gue. Cih. Padahal doi yg bikin gue nangis.

6. She grew up a bit faster than me. Mom said, mungkin karna tu anak mimi susu mulu.. Dan ga protes tiap nyokap masukin telur ke susunya, while me? Protes banget rasa susunya kok jadi ga enak gitu, walopun gatau itu dicampur sama telur.

7. Dulu si adik suka gue sogok pake duit berapa ratus perak gitu. I forgot what did I get in return. Tapi pokonya dia mau aja disogok alias super gampangan. Tapi seiring bertambahnya usia, udah makin pinter dia. Demm ;D

8. She's four year younger than me yet she's taller and bigger. Nah, she's not fat, only her body is a bit wide (you know what I meant).

9. The thing I love the most about her physical appearance is her chubby cheek and chubby arm (hehee). Paling seneng maenin lengannya. Empuk. Pipinya apalagi. Kayanya enyak bener digigit. Yummy. (She'll be angry green reading this point, hahaaa)

10. The thing I envy the most of her is her long skinny leg. Tho I adore mine (narsism is my middle name, remember?), her leg is more well-shaped, longer, and skinnier. By mean skinny, I meant proportional. Sort of a model's leg look alike.

11. She can be both my younger sister and my older sister, for sometimes she's being wiser and acting like she's older than me. Giving me advises and a shoulder to cry on. Her thoughts and opinions really matter most of the time.

12. A spoiled bastard and a super intolerably lazy kind of person.

13. Has a small kitty doll. She named it, mimia, since the first time Dad bought it for her when she was two. Until now, she's still sleeping with it next to her. She'll be angry if anyone treats mimia badly. Freak? Yes, a bit.

14. I think her brain is connecting into mine. I said "Itu loh de, si itu yg adenya si ini di sinetron ituuu, ternyata yah dia tuh... *blablabla" Sometimes she can easily understood what I meant. Or when we're in public area, something popped our mind (usually when we saw someone or something eyed-catchy), my sister was about to say/ask something about it and I just nodded before she said a word, vice versa. Last thing we heard was our laughter. ;D

15. We share the same ideas of fashion, music, food, etc. We also share our clothes. Tapi sekarang ga semuanya bisa sepake sih. Mengingat sizenya si adik semakin membesar. And oh, we share room and sometimes bed also :)

16. She has a unique scent. Smells like a baby. Sort of, I supposed. Pokonya khas banget deh baunya dia. Kalo kepanasan, pipi chubbynya memuai. Mukanya merah. Dan bau matahari.

17. Another helpless narcissistic kinda person.

18. Baru pertama kali naik Transjakarta seumur idupnya. Juga, sama sekali ngga tau jalanan Jakarta dan cuma tau naik metromini 72 dari rumah sodara di deket RSPP ke PIM, itupun pulangnya masih takut nyasar. (Zzzzz..)

19. We mostly spend time together. Separated only when I was working at Jakarta. Kemana-mana berdua. Apalagi kalo pas dua-duanya ga punya pacar atau or having LDR. Karna masing-masing udah sibuk sendiri2. We usually spare free time together, a sister day. Mostly eating, the rest could be karaoke-ing or going to cinema. Ini yang bikin sedih banget kalo nanti gue married. Gonna miss her badly.

20. Walopun udah kaya anak kembar, kemana2 berdua, usually have the same thoughts over something. Tapi muka kita ngga serupa. There are resemblances, but not much, I guess. Miripnya hanya di angle2 tertentu aja kayanya.

21. She's now still struggling with her thesis, which is, according to her, gonna be wrapped before this mid-year. Yet, she's mostly seen lazying at home and reading comics and novel all the time. Well, good luck gendut..

22. Best companion ever. Best travel mate ever. Best friend to talk to and to share stories with.

23. She is the only person on earth, who actually KNOWS me and UNDERSTANDS me.

Yesterday we spent time together. Grabbing a free lunch at Steak Hotel Senopati (free wagyu only for her, and she treated me NZ rib-eye). She asked me to post her picture on my blog. So, here it is.

Yup, Adity House of Kebaya

Haihai.. Betapa leganya deh ni.. Akhirnya masalah perkebayaan selesai juga. By mean selesai maksudnya sudah diputuskan bikin dimana tu kebaya akadnya ya, bukan selesai udh jadi.

As I told you in my previous post, kebaya akad akirnya harus bikin. Udah ada sih sebenernya kandidat2nya. Salah satunya yg dulu ngejahit kebayanya sepupu gue. Namanya Bu Neneng. Si ibu ini konon pernah kerja sama designer kebaya kondang impian (hampir) semua cepewe-cepewe seantero endonesah, Anne Avantie. Tapi doi keluar and then made her own boutique. Katanya sih gak gitu mahal jait di dia, tapi bagus dan rapih.

Sebelumnya udh nanya ke dia, bikin kebaya akad berapa, dulu menurut gue agak mahal ya, mengingat harus beli bahannya lagi. Tapi berhubung si bahan dapetnya haratisan, jadi can be considered lah. Janjianlah si gue dengan si ibu Neneng ini Sabtu kemaren ditemani seorang temen yg rumahnya di kompleks tetangganya si Ibu. Usut punya usut, Bu Neneng ini ternyata langganan mamanya temen gue itu. Dan baju lamaran si temen juga bikin di si Ibu.

Tapi berkat begadang nonton The Intrepreter di tipi ampe jam stgh3 pagi, kesiangan dah gue bangunnya. Udah mana angkot menuju rumah si ibu doyan bener ngetemnya. Jadi ajuaah, pas sampe rumahnya, si Ibunya udh keburu pegi, ada janji lagi.

Ah, cuape deh. Akirnya balik lagi ke rencana awal. Adity Boutique. Sambil komat-kamit sendiri smoga bisa disesuaikan dengan budget akyuh.

Pas ke Adity, pas ada tante Tita (ibunya Adity). Sebelumnya udh nanya sama Aditynya, ternyata katanya nggak bisa kurang lagi kalo kebaya akad. Mau bikin dgn standar kebaya biasa (bukan kebaya pengantin) mereka pun nggak bisa. Huks. Tapi terus akirnya ngobrol sama Tante Tita, aseli rame bener deh ni tante, dan dia baik sekaliiih.. Karna gue bilang budgetnya paling cukupnya buat kebaya biasa, si Tante ini berbaik hati mau nurunin ongkos jaitnya, masih diatas budget gue sih (kecian bener ya budget minimalis lis lis lis) tapi I think it's worth it.

So, today I called Tante Tita to write my name on their Kebaya list. Jadi juga mak bikin di Adity! Asooooy!!

Honeymoon vs Travelling

Yak, finally came to this part. I actually have been browsing about our honeymoon plan since months ago. But didn't post it here cos it supposed to be my nemo's job to settle things up for our honeymoon. But yeah, boys will always be boys. In the end I'm the one who did the research, surveys, etc.

Destination: Lombok. Why Lombok? Simply because we've never been there. And I thought that place is suitable for honeymoon due to its tranquility.

Found lots of hotels and resorts, but these two accommodations really draw my interest.

1. Desa Dunia Beda Beach Resort

Located in Gili Trawangan, offers you traditional villas. Cute and homey, isn't? Knowing its rate per night, this place apparently not that cute for me anymore. (_ _")

2. Manta Dive Gili Trawangan

I forgot how I found this place. I just loved it from the beginning. They have traditional bungalows and hotel rooms. Most of tourists stayed at this hotel for its diving facilities. Which makes my interest of this place grew bigger, who knows this place'd be witnessing my first diving experience. Their reviews about this place and the fact that this kinda-look-alike-resort hotel is 40% saver than the above option, more or less.

3. Manta Dive Gili Air

This one is the same with the above hotel, only it's located at Gili Air. The website said this one is dedicated to those who wanna escape from the hectic night life at Gili Trawangan. This island is more tranquil than Trawangan. And I supposed that's a good point for honeymooners, right?

After reading this review, and looking at the above pics, I'm getting confident to book a room at Manta Dive Gili Air. Especially when I asked the owner regarding both hotels' rate. The one at Gili Air is cheaper ;D

We're not yet to decide whether we're gonna spend the whole week at Gili Air. But for the sake of the safety of our pocket, I think we'll spend our first two nights at Mataram, at a much much more affordable accommodation. Then move to Gili the next day and spend our last two nights there. Yak. That sounds great (talking to myself).

Now, I'm waiting for their replied email so that I can transfer money for deposit. While still searching what interesting to do at Lombok.

Hihiii. Happy! Can I just fastforward to October?
